Why summer training?
Summer Training has been added in the course curriculum of engineering student's after they complete 2nd year and 3rd year of their course work. Before describing WHY you should do summer training I would like to describe WHY you should not do it?
WHY YOU SHOULD NOT DO IT?
1. Certificate: Most of the student's do it for the sake of the certificate where as having just a certificate without knowledge is similar to have a GUN without bullets. So think twice these certificates are useless if you can not defend it, or rather harmful for your career.
2. College needs it... The other category of student's do it because their colleges needs a certificate, In fact the real reason for forcing you to submit a summer training certificate is to motivate you to undergo this training.
WHY YOU SHOULD DO IT?
1. The main reason is to get the exposure of real working of Industry. So that you understand what type of projects are developed in Industry and how many skills are required to execute a simple single project.
2. Applying the knowledge learned in college while doing projects
3. To set the goal or the domain in which you would like to work after graduation
4. To acquire one additional advanced skill which is not taught in college course work
What you must do?
1. Make a clear project plan and execute atleast one project
2. Understand the complete "Making of Project"
3. Create a nice presentation and deliver a talk on this work
4. Identify at least 10 companies where you can get into after doing this project
5. Add this project in your CV and update it in all job sites including Linkedin
+ There is a lot more other fine details...

Life after death
Find a quiet place, close your eyes and visualize as if you are going to attend the funeral of some loved one. 2 Minutes....
All people have gathered there and you can feel the sorrow and sadness in the air. And suddenly you see the deadbody.. it's Your body lying there, you are dead.
All these people have come here to say good bye to you.
Now what do you want these people to talk about you?
How these people should remember you?
DO you think something is unfinished in life?
DO you think something you should have done differently?
Do you want to say sorry to someone?
Ask as many questions as you can ... do some introspection..!!
Rub your hands and put it on your eyes and see you are still alive.. still breathing.. this could be your second chance to life.
Plan your life, plan how you want to be remembered, plan your life visualizing the end result in front of you.
If you can visualize it ..you can very well do it.. visualization is the first seed.
Guys we have only one life .. live it to the fullest.. achieve maximum, give back maximum, leave some positive mark in the life of others..
Best of luck.
